Master Craftsman Stephen Laurie of Laurie’s Furniture is offering woodwork night school tuition to adults interested in woodwork and in the skill of furniture making and other wooden items, in his fully equipped workshop in Clarkville.

Stephen has formerly tutored woodwork night school at Burnside High, Riccarton High and Kaiapoi High Schools and now runs ten week courses on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year from 7 – 9.30pm from his own workshop.

Learn the correct use and care of hand tools; competently and safely learn to operate a variety of woodwork machines.

With the guidance of Stephen, a qualified Craftsman Furniture Maker for over 45 years, 40 years in his own business, you will be able to make furniture and other woodwork projects of your choice to a very high standard that you will be proud to confidently show off to family and friends.
